Description
Due Diligence: We're Under Contract... Now What?
This class is designed to walk Brokers through the different areas of due diligence a broker should be advising on that are laid out in a purchase contract, including Title, Appraisal, Septic, Water Rights, Inspection (which/what do you recommend and what liability do you take as a broker here), etc. Students will learn the common processes in advising, objecting, resolving, or terminating due diligence that should commonly be made during real estate transactions. The first portion of the class is heavily directed at making sure the general broker knows what/how they should be approaching walking their clients through their respective obligations in the contract and how to set up systems to avoid common mistakes! This will help brokers to feel confident that they are reducing consumer liability by making sure their clients are pursuing as many sources of information/investigation as they can!
